I am so honored to be a part of the yoga community that Nora created at my office! She led lunch-time yoga classes in a conference room 2 days a week….we started as a group of beginners, but under Nora’s direction, quickly grew into a large group of yoga devotees. Nora’s warm, unintimidating teaching style was a perfect fit for our group. She took the time to get to know each of us individually and tailored her weekly classes accordingly. Nora has given us a true sense of community that we apply both on our yoga mats and in our workplace.
I tried yoga looking for a place to find a quiet place in the busy day, while also maybe getting a little sweat on and increasing my flexibility. Nora’s lunch yoga class fit my busy schedule (not having to leave the office was GREAT!), and allowed me the opportunity to try something new, without having to put up too much of a commitment (like joining a gym or studio). I had no idea how much I would come to LOVE yoga, and practicing with Nora. Nora takes an intimidating concept like yoga, and makes it enjoyable. ANYONE can learn the practice of yoga- Nora taught me that. She approaches yoga with a fun, laid back, attitude, where it’s ok to try/fall/laugh and breathe. Her music selection always complements the practice, and often the season, offering more than the standard “gong” and “environment” music. Yoga with Nora is so much more than yoga, its an escape from taking life too seriously and learning to breathe your way to being enough.
